Let me say it in a different way on this World Gratitude Day

I never thought of this particular thing, Gratitude in my life, because then and there I thank the respective people either by heart or by words...

As soon as I saw the post feed on blog reader, I got to know that today is World Gratitude Day...landed in Write Tribe. Going through all the posts on this day which  have been listed.

As the word and world says "Gratitude Day", where am I now is because of few people directly and almost this world indirectly...Though we are grateful then and there, this day is When you say it CLEAR and LOUD and also a Diary which has the list very safe and memorable.

Let me say it in a different way...

Where I am right now professionally and personally is because of people who helped, supported and taken care of me when I needed it. Similarly I'm being grateful to the people who have given me bitter experience which taught me life lessons and made me STRONGER..

Is it not being partial if I just thank the people who supported me in a positive attitude?? Yes it is...That's why I'm thanking people & situations who gave tough time to me and my thoughts...

First & Foremost & ALWAYS is to thank my MOM...for teaching me PATIENCE, PERSEVERENCE, HUMBLENESS, TOLERANCE, RESPECT, HONESTY and everything GOOD ASPECTS of LIFE...and only good things to be TRUE.... I had always been a daughter who yells at her mother for silly/no reason and dint show back the love to her...but after marriage, every SINGLE day I dont forget to think about HER for one or other aspect...I want to SAY SORRY through this post..SORRY MA...from bottom of my heart...

I thank my aunt(was brought-up in a joint family) for her equality to all the children no matter whose child we were...

I thank my dad for BEING STRICT because of that only I'm disciplined now...

I thank my Teacher, my favourite teacher Ms.Vasanthi for all her teachings academic and personal interest on me and my skills..

I thank my friends especially school friends for giving me EVER memorable school days....the gang of 12

I thank for my PT Miss for giving me the opportunity to be the School Pupil Leader and making me to know that I have leadership skills too...

I thank ALL THE OTHERS not to mention who gave me tough times which made ME STRONGER  and STRONGER and BOLD enough to FACE THIS WORLD with full of courage...

FINALLY I thank GOD...My MOM.. yes she is MY GOD because I see GOD in her....for giving this great life and I'm GRATEFUL to her...

THANK YOU ALL for reading this and making my blog so special....

10 Tips Before You Go For Monetizing Your Blog

Hey folks...I know you are smart and you all know about blogs and the way it helps in creating a income source apart from all your other income sources.

Here is a small story before I could write really about the title.. I was trying very hard to find a way to monetize through my blog. I applied too many times to Google Adwords. I applied Blogher, amazon affiliates program.. but none of them turned out fruitful...And I came to know about all these monetizing affiliates by the blogger Leslie of Lamberts Lately. She has written a very straight and helpful post on "How I make money Blogging"..

Thanks Leslie for a wonderful post that gave me a LIGHT to the right direction.

From Leslie's blog Lamberts Lately, I got bunch of information on the affiliates.

But are you thinking what am I gonna write even after reading that informative post?? Yes there is little groundwork to do before you get into affiliate programs...
Because just getting into affiliates will not be sufficient to monetize your blog but that groundwork that you will do can really lead in a procedural way...

What am I going to give you?? As the title says "10 tips to monetize your blog", I am going to make gist of 10 tips before you are really ready to go...

Bloggers who have just started blogging and bloggers who seem to struggle in searching guidance to monetize though they are good bloggers will find these tips useful.

Sorry guys for the long story though I mentioned it as small story.. :-p

Ok lets get into the POINT...

1. Navigation: Your blog is all set and you have started blogging good blog posts..What is next?? Did you check for the navigation on your blog?? Who, What, Why and How...these questions should have answers...Wondering what are those..
Who-About You, What-Blog about what, why-why you started blogging or what made you to start blogging and How is the last option that you can be the INSPIRATION / MOTIVATION for your readers that how are you managing the blog to keep it alive and fresh all the way in the middle of your busy day...

2. Design: All color codes, text formatting and alignment come under this element design. Whacky and too many colours on the blog make readers to go out of the blog as soon as they enter. Make it simple but still elegant, readable and legible by choosing right font type and correct font size.

3. Layout: Arrange all the elements in an order. Have minimum columns, ideally two columns and one footer.

4. Page elements: You can have many widgets but make sure that those widget distract your readers from your blog post and gains too much of attention. I was having a gif widget in the corner of the window but I felt somewhere it disturbs me then just think about the readers who come to my blog..So I removed it..Make sure you have necessary and non-distraction elements.

5. Page load time: In this busy world no one has patience to wait if your page takes too much time to load...So try to avoid extra codings put up just for fantasy and avoid annoying your readers to wait...

6. Post style: Don't post always image or visual type of content, because search engine crawlers need some text to be fed so that your blog will be listed on the search engine results

7. Optimisation of image and content, search engine friendly: Yes this part is one of the important points to be followed when you think of your blog to identified by the search engines. When you use image use the alternate text for that image as we generally use images from other sources. What if they remove that image from other sources when you link it on your post. Your post will display a broken image which will make user to wonder whats that image about. So using alternate text for the image will be helpful for your readers to know what image was placed.

8. Engaging with your readers & non-readers: One of the MOST IMPORTANT factors for getting good income through your blog is to drive traffic to your blog. Engaging with your readers is the best possible way but before that you should have a good engagement level with the non-readers also so that they WILL BECOME readers of your blog...How?? Go to your readers' blogs...Keep tracking, reading and commenting the followers of YOUR READERS' blogs. But this should be consistent because if you just start doing it for the sake of initiating reader base and leaving out after getting the readers base, then no one WILL STEP into your blog...Its all reflection man...What You Do is What You Get..

9. Thumbs Up & Bird chirps: I know you will guess it right...Yes thats about sharing on social media..Dont SIT STILL after creating a blog post. Come on..its your blog post you have to share it across the board...and  YOUR ARE THE ADVERTISER, MARKETER for your writing... Posting & Waiting for someone to give you THUMBS up chirpies is like making ready all for cooking and not switching on the gas stove burner...Right?? I know you got it in a right sense...

10......
.
.
.
.
.
Thinking what it is...EVERYONE knows about this...
but still THE MOST IMPORTANT point is CONTENT....
Without giving a good content, no reader will be ready to read your or continue reading your blog...
As always CONTENT is KING.. no matter which medium it goes on...no matter who writes...

I believe these are not just tips but also it could be a checklist before you could get into monetizing your blog....
Do you think that there are some more to be added to the above list?? If so please share on the comment section which will be helpful for many newbie bloggers....

Spread the word if you find this useful sharing....

Till my next post...
Keep smiling....Happy Blogging...

Thinking for a While...

After very many days...I'm spending time on my BLOG especially to write a post....

Before few posts I wrote about my 185th Day of My Marriage Life...It was about my daily routines and the way of life that has changed after my marriage....When I thought of REJUVENATING my blog with my writing, again I got an hunch that why I dont share my recent happenings that created IMPACT in my behaviour altogether...

Is expectation always a disappointment??? Is expecting from your loved ones a sin???? Being lovable and loving a mistake????? All these days I was thinking these things were right...But people around me so called near and dear(dearest) ones PROVED me wrong that YOU MUST NOT USE THE WORD LOVE and you should remove the word love....and the DICTIONARY CONTAINED synonyms of SELFISHNESS....

Should I not expect even love from people around me???? Yes people around me taught me TO STOP LOVING, START BEING SELFISH....I started doing the same...

I started BEING SELFISH.....I LIKED what I felt....I liked to help others... I liked being selfish...I liked to shower ALL MY LOVE and that became my selfishness....I stopped expecting....I started LOVING MORE & MORE....

When I started thinking am I changing gradually???? Yes the way I express & expect has been changed according to the PRESENT WORLD...but THE NATURE of ME DID NOT CHANGE.....AND WILL NEVER CHANGE....Thanking my mom for giving this LOVING NATURE and ESPECIALLY THIS UNCONDITIONAL loving nature....

Are you experiencing anything similar to this??? Or ever experienced before like this??? Share with me....friends...

The Third Person Amidst Us

"Dayal.....wake upp....... its getting too late", Leela alarmed her husband from kitchen, busy preparing breakfast. Dayal ignored his sweet wife's alarm and continued his nap adjusting his blanket..which made him feel warm by the morning breeze.

Appa Dayal, who is a chief accountant in mid-level performing company, was hurrying up to kick off his day for the work, after his wife's 3rd wake up call..

Leela came to the bed room to wake-up their only daughter. But Leela was missing from her sight. To her surprise, Anu was getting ready with her uniform ironed stiff. "Amma, you surprised orrr...... shocked seeing my punctuality(giggled)?, Lets go and have breakfast... today you are going to feed me Mamma..."

Leela was wondering how this change within Anu has happened in a single day's time, murmuring in her husband's ear, "Dayal, is this our Anu?? Can you believe this???". Apparently tears rolled out from Mamma's eyes...

Just rolling back of a year ago; heart full of pain, eyes full of tears, Leela was holding her husband's hand in front of Anu on bed, who was admitted in hospital for consuming poison.

It was not for the first time that she was teased in her school, both the boys and the girls that she was a nature of Tom-Girl(context:girls who are rugged, sporty and less interested in clothes, makeup). Many times and many days, her behaviour made her stand out from the girls' crowd. But she never minded about their comments.

On an evil's day for Anu, two of her friends were talking behind her back thinking that Anu was not there, that, "Hey Swathi, now-a-days, Anu is behaving weird which is not seeming good to be with us... its better we stop talking to her, what you say"... The other friend, Swathi, "Yeah yeah Maitri, you are very correct, even I was noticing for the past few months.. but why should we stop talking to her...we will always be friends as we are...there is nothing harm being a friend as Anu..."

Anu started thinking though she was angry on her friends' conversation. She was actually observing her physical changes which was not an usual one. Though she was a girl, her body was not of fully girl's. Slowly she was realising that she was abnormal.

As any teen-child do have, this innocent girl also had curiosity of knowing what that abnormality was. Internet a boon or a bane, served her curiosity that she was growing as a transgender. The internet results showed the negative NEWS items on top of the search results.

Her heartbeat was high as never. Her mind filled with inadmissible thoughts. She started experiencing lonely days and hallucinating nights which led her to finish her life.

Their only daughter was home from hospital and the parents did not question her even once. Days and months passed by but nothing happened except Anu was dumbfounded... One fine evening, Anu's friends, Maitri and Swathi visited Anu's mother.

Li'l girls were hesitant to ask and hence the mother started the conversation.."Enna ma, you came to see your friend?" Making her voice clear, Swathi said, "Yes, Aunty...but..." a pause "Can we meet her?". Leela nodding her head signalling no, said, "She will be alright and she will be coming to school in few days dear... OK?"

After a terrible agony, Swathi, started that, their conversation was the reason for Anu's act and felt guilt. But Anu's amma, in a pacifying tone, "No problem dear ones, you dont worry what you had talked but be her friend even at her back, hereafter... Go on little girls.."

Anu who was listening to all these things, was shocked and again her curiosity aroused. She walked towards her mother and stood with a face only WITH QUESTIONS.

After a long time, Anu contacted her mother through those tearful eyes and at once, Amma embraced Anu, with loads of love around. Anu confessed and Leela said a statement that Anu never thought about, "You are our blessed child and you are always OUR child... we will leave you alone only after our death and its physical departure.."

Being a transgender child(person), its no one's mistake. Do not discriminate them and it starts from their parents. Please share this if it deserves to reach many...

185th Day of My Marriage Life

Hey Friends, its been weeks since I wrote my last post. Don't know why, but this is the third consecutive post about my marriage (life). Though it is accidental, I feel that we write often about what we have in our mind. Hope you all agree.

I started writing this post as a part of memories of marriage DATE, that is today, for which 6 months, 185 days has completed of marriage life. Yes May 20th we got married and is purely arranged marriage. The life after marriage is entirely different and can be said NEW WORLD for me. Some girls would deny this statement as they would be living only with their husband no other relatives.

But majority of the girls in this country go through the same as I do. I have written in my last post about the problems and grey areas of after marriage for girls especially newly married ones. Philosophies apart, let me come to the interesting and happy moods of these days.

I love being center of attraction and being pampered and thats how I had been brought up. I never did a single household work to my mom. But after marriage, I started doing every work(almost) as if I had did years together. My sisters and my mom were dumb-struck when I shared them the daily updates. Because no one believed that I would do this much work, not just doing but also with a style of an experienced hand.

Even I was little surprised about me that how COULD I be so responsible in my in-laws house. I never had been like this much responsible before marriage. I felt that I had become matured enough to run a family(just self-boasting :-D he he), but on a serious note, I never thought that I could do these much of works with an eye of responsibility.

Beyond all these things above said, the relationship, the new relationship, which we ever thought of who person would be, how he would be, had changed the life after marriage. CANNOT be said as life, but CHANGED ME and my behaviours. Yes, I had been so lethargy, care free attitude, non-sentimental girl. NOW, all things are opposite within me. I am responsible, has become sentimental idiot and so on.

It is not just that marriage has turned upside down altogether, but our mind too is involved in this process change. We do not change consciously. It happens unconsciously, which had been imbibed within us by our parents and elders. Hence, we apply without even learning from anywhere but being a silent spectators.

Adjusting, accepting, being patient, saying OKs, tolerating, sacrificing, disappointments, every single thing gets into us when we were kids, from our mother and sisters or sisters-in-law. I think this is what that holds the first &  BIGGEST reason to RUN a family calm and soothing, many times avoiding FAMILY SPLIT-UPS. FEEL PROUD BEING a WOMAN, because of the above said reason and we are the reason for a HAPPY FAMILY...

Coming back to my BETTER-HALF(so-called), now its only better-quarter ;)..he was telling that HE is PROUD of US as PAIR for some reasons, which I do not want to mention here, but it is related to family situations handling..I felt happy and more of satisfied for starting a marriage with such kind of words from my husband for that UNSAID reason, stepping into 7th month of OUR marriage life.

Gonna have a small celebration...and I am awaiting him..:)

This ONE is for MY HUBBY...

Believe and pray that we as a PAIR, make the family a good place to LIVE in for both of our IN-LAW relations.

See YOU on next post FRIENDS...

Why should girls have all the PAIN? UBC Day 1

I started writing this after I wrote for 100 Words on Saturday @ WriteTribe.

Here is the post & prompt: I knew it was my last day there.

How life of mine had been and how it has changed? The reason is similar to all the other girls' lives, Marriage. Yes, the event Marriage in my life has taken me to new world and not just new world but also NEW ME.

I wonder what has happened to me..Right from my daily routines TO my own behaviours, habits, even some of my characteristics have been totally changed. I wouldn't have known that I can ALSO be like this(presently what I am), if the event of marriage has not happened.

I had screwed my mother for better and tastier food than what she had cooked. I had yelled at my mother for no reasons but arguments with friends outside of which she had no clue but silence was her reaction. No single work or help I did for her till my marriage except, raising the electricity bill merely watching television all the day and extended nights. No smiles, no words, no conversation with her, at her.

But still, she served like a nurse. She worked like a dog. She hid her pain in her SMILE. She smiled at every face she saw, as if she is the blissful woman in the world. She never complained about anyone for anything, though she had(is) undergone such painful moments, not just moments, to be precise, painful life she was leading. No bloody creature including me knew about HER and HER PAIN...

All these things I got to know only after some days of my Marriage. Its not about knowing, but I REALISED what life was she leading and how it was possible.

She never asked anything for her. She never cooked anything for her. She never prayed anything for her. How a person can be like this??? I could never imagine this kind of characteristics that whether I would imbibe from her in future though she is my mother.

In recent days, one of her characteristics, has come to me and I realised it... TOLERANCE and level of tolerance has gone to higher level than it was before my marriage. I never kept quiet in a conversation. I was never silent in an argument. I never accepted my brothers' or sisters' or my parents' instruction. I hate being instructed and directed, when I do my job.

But..but..but....All these things got changed within me after my marriage, which I NEVER knew that would be of my characteristics this soon. I said YES to everything immaterial of its importance, seriousness, sensibility. I stopped arguing except with my husband. I HEARD to the instructions though its already being done by me.

Getting up early, doing household chores(also cooking), helping M-I-L, taking care in-laws; all these things have become part of my daily life. Sorry Sorry..Have become MY LIFE, in a very short span of marriage life. Its not that I am against all these changes but, why for GIRLS alone? Though it is the reality that has to be accepted, why can't we change this reality?

Similar to the question 'Why should boys have all the fun?', I want to ask 'Why should girls have all the PAIN?'

I knew it was my last day there

Things were all set. Family Members were flying with their wheels-on-legs. Happiest as ever as I was and every single person was serving me.

I was expecting this day right from my childhood to seek attention of my family members. New dresses, jewels, cosmetics, this, that and what not in my room around me.

Everything got packed and all are ready-to-go. Cabs arrived. Elders prayed for a minute and blessed me.

No words but tears rolled down from my MOTHER's eyes.

I knew its my last day there at my HOME, as we were heading to marriage hall for my MARRIAGE, next day...

Written for 100 words on Saturday at Write Tribe prompt of ‘I knew it was my last day there’.

Silence!

JOY exists while family members are together;

FUN exists when friends come together;

And

SILENCE exists, when true love from two souls are Together

Freedom

We met each other,
Spent time together;

We loved Unconditionally,
But I let you free, finally;

Because you became someone else's,
And I could see that on your eyes...

~~~~~~~~~~~
Without YOU...
If you aren't My Pal
I will be covered by A Pall
